Places I've been...Places I'd love to see

Places I've been-

Disneyland & Disneyworld - OK...here goes the beginning of my list. Start with the best! Disney, the happiest place on earth, but you must have the right attitude. We have been many times now and LOVE everything about it. Yes you will wait in lines, but you know that. Yes there will be a lot of people there, of course there is, everyone knows how great Disney is! If you just relax and enjoy the experience you will have the time of your life. Ask about some of the lesser known attractions. Some that we've enjoyed:
The "ranch" behind Big thunder mountain at Disneyland. I took my son there when he was 5 when everyone else was riding Big Thunder, we were just walking around and came upon this little ranch. There are goats to pet and Woody and Jessie came to visit and we didn't have to wait in line at all for them!
Then there was the Nestle's magic cookie experience. The kids get to help make the cookie dough and then they put the cookies in the oven and "magically" they are done in 30 seconds! Plus you get to eat cookies! Gotta love it.
In California adventure there is the tortilla factory. Check it out. Ask around and you'll find many magical adventures beyond the rides!
If you are going to Disneyland check out http://www.getawaytoday.com/ for great deals on hotels & ticket combos.
If you are going to Disneyworld stay at one of the Disney value resorts. It is totally worth it for their transportation, extra magic hours. I would also get the meal plan.

Seattle - One of my favorite places to go! If you go make sure you check out this awesome bike shop. They are one of two shops in the USA that sell these amazing bikes!

Whidbey Island - My absolute favorite place! (So far, and not including all things Disney!) Beautiful scenery, wonderful little towns, the ferry ride to get there or the drive around the island, whale watching. What's not to love?

San Francisco- It was really fun and I love the city transportation system, so wonderful. Highlight of the trip? This little hidden treasure. We also loved Golden Gate Park and Yerba Buena Children's Garden with the carousel and museum. The Exploratorium was probably one of Lilli's favorites. We also loved the Sea Lions and we all really enjoyed our tour of Alcatraz. It was worth the money and the wait.

Places I'd love to see-

Denmark- This is where Lars' family is from and has consistently been rated the most content country in the world. It is a small Scandinavian country. One of the things I love about it is that they bike- a lot. More people own bikes than cars. They have amazing bike lanes as well as light signals for bikes. It is beautiful, there is great food, plus- it is where legos come from- how can it not be a great place! Home of the original Legoland.

Tuscany-

New Hampshire

England-

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter- Universal Studios Orlando-
This looks awesome and since we are big Harry Potter fans it is perfect! Check it out.
